How to disable extensions

Google Chrome

  1. Click the menu icon at the top right of the browser window, choose Tools and then choose Extensions
    Or simply type in "chrome://extensions/" in your address bar
  2. Uncheck Enabled to disable the extension you want

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the menu icon at the top right of the browser window and select Add-ons
  2. In the Add-ons Manager window, select the Extensions tab
  3. Click on Disable next to the extension you want
  4. Click on Restart Now if the option shows up

Internet Explorer 8+

  1. Click the Tools gear icon at the top right of the browser window
  2. Select Manage Add-ons
  3. Under the Show menu, select All add-ons
  4. Select the Add-on you want and click on Disable
  5. Click on Close to exit
